Safety During COVID-19

Together Forward

Masks are optional. If you would like to wear a mask we will provide them at the door when you enter.

We are offering two services: 9:30 and 11:00. Both services are identical with the 11:00 service being streamed live on Facebook and our website in the Watch Live tab for those choosing to watch from home.

As we prepare to go Together Forward our leadership team’s priority remains committed to putting the safety and well-being of our Encounter Church Family and Friends first. So, here’s a snapshot of the enhanced precautions you can expect when coming to worship at EC:

  • You will be greeted at the Hub entrance where a trained greeter will open the door for you, minimizing contact
  • Multiple hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the building
  • Café volunteers will serve coffee & pastries from 9:00 – 9:25 (9:30 service) and 10:30 – 10:55 (11:00 service)
  • Re-sanitize hard seating surfaces and high-contact areas between each service
  • Sanctuary seating will be re-configured to maintain appropriate distancing

As a member of our church family, we ask that you agree to:

  • Watch our online service if you have a cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms
  • Consider watching our online service if you have an at-risk health condition
  • Consider watching our online service if you are 65 years old or above
  • Consider watching our online service if you have other concerns about returning
  • Make use of hand sanitizers available throughout the building
  • Sit with members of your own household
  • Be respectful of individual’s personal space preferences ie: handshakes, hugs
  • Enter as directed by greeters and ushers
  • Depart auditorium promptly as directed by ushers to allow time for sanitizing for the next service

We understand that meeting together under these guidelines will be new and challenging. Saying that, this is a great time to get involved in serving Jesus as you serve His people!

Let’s go Together Forward!!
